Commerce Colleges in Nagaland.

No state can progress if it lags behind in the area of education. Realizing this , the government of nagaland made various efforts in the area of education. One of the steps which it took was establishing a large number of commerce colleges across Nagaland,since nowdays , education in the field of commerce is as much important as that of science. There are various commerce colleges in Nagaland and these commerce colleges impart different courses to the students. This article briefly describes some of the most well known commerce colleges of Nagaland . List of Commerce colleges is given below with a brief description of some of them.
1) The Baptist College located in Kohima, Nagaland 
This college which was established in 1982 is one of the best commerce college in Nagaland. It offers degree level education both in commerce and arts stream. Courses offered are:

2) Alder College
This college boosts of excellent teaching faculty and infrastructure. Following subjects are taught :

3) Nagaland institute of Education:
The Nagaland institute of Education, Kohirna (also known as Nagaland College of Education) was established in the year 1975. This college was established for improving the quality of education at the Secondary level. It was through the joint effort of the State Government that thisCollege was established. Dr.K.J.Joseph who served as the a Reader at NEHU,Kohima campus was made the ex-officio Principal of the College in the 1975 also,Shri.O.Kathipri who was at that time the Special Secretary Education,Government of Nagaland inaugurated thius college .The College is producing better results every year. This is evident by the fact that a record was made by the 2008 batch. The pass percentage was 96.95% , 62 in first division and 2 more in the second division. The College also won laurels for the year 2008 when two of NCTE staff, Dr.Rukhono Iralu ,Vice-Principal, and Mr.Neizieo, UDA were awarded the Meritorious Award and the Commendation Certificate respectively.
