Prior knowing about ELITMUS Exam, let’s know about ELITMUS:-

eLitmus Evaluation Pvt. Ltd. founded on 28th March is an INDIAN Company. eLitmus was formed by former Infosys employees. The Company helps other companies in hiring employees. eLitmus helps in hiring employees for entry level jobs.The pH test is conducted by eLitmus for hiring employees. eLitmus was promoted by an IT recruitment firm Browse Consulting India Private Limited. 

ABOUT ELITMUS Exam:-

The ELITMUS Exam comprises of pH or Hiring Potential test.

pH Test/Hiring Proficiency Test is a national level test. The companies criteria for hiring employees is pH Test. The first pH Test was conducted by eLitmus on April 24, 2005. The Test was conducted in 11 cities of India. Many renowned IT companies like IBM, Accenture use pH scores for hiring candidates.

The results of pH Test are declared in two formats:-

  1. Percentile Score.
  2. Total Score.

The scores can be used by candidates for two years for applying to all participating companies.

WHY ELITMUS EXAM IS IMPORTANT?

The ELITMUS Exam is important in terms of placement. Scoring good in ELITMUS  Exam will provide you an opportunity to directly face off-campus and interviews.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ELITMUS EXAM:-

There is no criteria for ELITMUS Exam as such. Only candidates pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology,Master of Computer Applications, Master of Science(CS/IT), ME/Master of Technology will be benefited from  ELITMUS Exam.

The fee for the test is Rs.920 at present.

You can pay the fee in Cash, Demand Draft or Online Payment.

CAN pH TEST BE TAKEN MORE THAN ONCE:-

You can take the pH test any number of times you want. There is no restriction on that.

The candidates are shortlisted for an interview on the basis of skill test that are required for the job/job profile. No doubt ELITMUS score plays a vital role in getting you interview calls. It will be good if the percentile is above 80 for more opportunities. Good Academic records can also play a good role in your placement.

PAPER PATTERN :-

There are three sections and each section consists of 20 Questions.

1.Quantitative Aptitude:-

It measures  numerical ability and accuracy in calculations.

requires simple logic’s.

mathematical questions related to probability, geometry,time etc..

 

 

2.Reasoning:-

To think about something in a logical, sensible way.

this section consists of 3 comprehensions each comprehension consist of 4 questions.

easiest section in all the sections.

helps in improving the percentile.

questions related to data interpretation is also asked.

 

 

 

 

 

3.Verbal Ability:-

VERBAL REASONING

Test abilities in word power, analogies, sentence correction and verbal reasoning.

demands good vocabulary.

very good command on English.

 

 

 

 

The test must be completed in two hours.Paper Format changes time to time.Maximum Marks :-600. The exam is very much similar to CAT and CAT study material can also be used for practice.
