ELITMUS SYLLABUS AND EXAM PATTERN
ELITMUS SYLLABUS
The ELITMUS Syllabus And Exam Pattern comprises of three sections. All the sections consists of 20 questions.
The three sections are :-
.PROBLEM SOLVING AND DATA INTERPRETATION
The Syllabus of ELITMUS Exams is as follows:-
1.Syllabus of QUANTITATIVE APPTITUDE:-
- Number Systems-4 questions at-least
- Averages-2 questions
- Percentage & Interest-1 question
- Time, Speed & Distance-1 to 2 questions
- Geometry-3 questions at-least
- Coordinate Geometry-1 to 2 questions
- Logarithms-1 question
- Quadratic Equations-2 questions
- Probability-2 questions
- Permutation & Combination-at-least 2 questions
- Miscellaneous Questions
2.Syllabus of VERBAL ABILITY:-
- Questions based on Grammatical Concepts
- Paragraph Based Questions-2 paragraphs at-least
- Fill In The Blanks-4 questions
- Reading Comprehension- 2 to 3 paragraphs each consists of 4 questions
3.Syllabus of PROBLEM SOLVING and DATA INTERPRETATION :-
- Data Tabulation based Questions-2 questions
- Cryptarithmetic Problem-3 questions
- Arrangement Based Problems
- Bar Graphs/Pie Charts-4 questions
- Miscellaneous Questions
This section consists of 6 group of questions.
ELLITMUS EXAM PATTERN:-
EXAM PATTERN
Section 1: Quantitative Aptitude Section ( 20 Questions)
Important topics to be covered in this section are:-
- Numeral System
- Time, Work,Speed & Distance
- Permutation and Combination(P&C)
- Probability(prob)
- Elementary Geometry.
There will be 14 to 16 questions from the above mentioned topics. If you attempt 8 to 9 questions correctly then you will score more than 90 percentile.
Prepare these topics first.
Section 2: Problem Solving & Data Interpretation ( 20 Questions)
Important topics to be covered in this section:-
- Data Interpretation-Data in tabular form with conditions-at-least 5 questions
- Questions of Arrangement-at-least 3
- Cryptic Multiplication -Coding/Decoding
This section is the most difficult of all the three section and you need to attempt at-least 6 questions correctly to score near about 90 percentile.
Section 3: Verbal Ability ( 20 Questions)
Important topics to be covered in this section:-
- Reading Comprehension- 3 comprehensions – 4 questions in each comprehension
- Paragraph Formation/ Parajumbles
- Fill in the appropriate words
- English Grammer
This is the most easy part of the pH exam. This section can help you to improve your score.
This was the ELITMUS Syllabus And Exam Pattern. Hope this is helpful for you.If you prepare yourself according to exam pattern and syllabus then you will surely sore good in pH Test.If you get a good percentile you will definitely get a good job.
THE CRITERIA FOR AWARDING THE PERCENTILE:-
If you score 30 marks your percentile will be approx. 70
If you score 40 marks your percentile will be approx. 80
If you score 50 marks your percentile will be approx. 90
If you score 60 marks your percentile will be 95+
If you score more than 65 marks you are a genius then
FEW POINTS TO BE KEPT IN MIND:-
- The exam is of 2 hours so manage you time well.
- There is negative marking also.
- Section wise percentile is important.
- Use quality material books for practice like TIME AND ARUN SHARMA.
- Don’t cram the formula the necessary ones are already provided to you in the question paper.
- The exam and its pattern is very much similar to CAT exam so CAT Exam preparation books and CAT sample papers can be used for practice.
- Try to practice previous years papers of ELITMUS. This will be quite beneficial.

i am a btech computer science student .my doubt is, how should i prepare for the coding rounds and aptitude test of good product based companies and how should i prepare for technical interviews of these companies
Education gap will affect in this exams also?
