GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering is one of the toughest and an all India Examination that basically test the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology. It has been known for testing the engineering basics in a smart way.It need the effort of mastering an entire course of engineering.In Gate 2013, aspirants faced quality competitions with top engineering graduates who preferred to write Gate due to sluggish IT market and 13 PSUs who decided to take the Gate score for entry in to their institutes.Even candidates are allowed to take scientific calculators this time which helped them a lot.The formula used to calculate gate score was being changed and performance of top 0.1% candidates played a key role in deciding the scores.
