NTPC/SJVNL/NHPC. Efforts are afoot to further strengthen the respective departments with professionals of proven credentials and qualified technical manpower. Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) , was incorporated in December 2006 under the Companies Act 1956, with the objective to plan, promote and organize the development of all aspects of hydroelectric power on behalf of Himachal Pradesh State Government (GHP) and Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) in Himachal Pradesh.
Mission: Development and prosperity in Himachal Pradesh through Power generation.
Aim: To come up as a major power generating company of India with good managerial and technical capabilities.
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil /Mechanical):
- Educational Qualification: Full time Degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering discipline / M.Tech (Civil / Mechanical)/ PGD in Hydro Power Plant engineering from a recognised University / Institute of India with at-least 60% marks.
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 years for receipt of applications with relaxation to reserved categories as per State Govt. rules.
- Pay Scale: Minimum of the pay band plus grade pay (16650 + 5800 Grade Pay) i.e. Rs. 22450
- Selection Procedure: Job seekers will be selected on the basis of Interview/written test.
2. Assistant Engineer ( Electrical):
- Educational Qualification: Full Time B.E./ B .Tech. (Electrical) and B.E./B.Tech (Electrical and
Electronics) / M.Tech (Electrical)/PGD in Hydro Power Plant engineering from a recognized University / Institute of lndia with atleast 60% marks. - Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 years for receipt of applications with relaxation to reserved categories as per State Govt. rules.
- Pay Scale: Minimum of the pay band plus grade pay (16650 + 5800 Grade Pay) i.e. Rs. 22450.
- Selection Procedure: Job seekers will be selected on the basis of Interview/written test.
3. Assitant Finance Officer:
- Educational Qualification: Full time CA / ICWA / M.Com / MBA(Finance) with B.Com from a
recognized University / lnstitute with at least 55% marks. - Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 years for receipt of applications with relaxation to reserved categories as per State Govt. rules.
- Pay Scale: Minimum of the pay band plus grade pay (16650 + 5800 Grade Pay) i.e. Rs. 22450.
4. Assistant Officer ( Relif & Rehabilitation):
- Educational Qualification: Full time BE in Rural Engineering or Equivalent or M.Phil (Sociologyl Social Work) with at least 55% marks. Preference shall be given to the candidates having R&R experience in hydropower sector.
- Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 years for receipt of applications with relaxation to reserved categories as per State Govt. rules.
- Pay Scale: Minimum of the pay band plus grade pay (16650 + 5800 Grade Pay) i.e. Rs. 22450.
