Exam pattern
In RBI assistant exam there are two phase of exam first is prelim exam which is qualifying nature and its mark is not added in final mariet and second phase is main exam. Merit will be prepared on the basis of the mains exam and interview. After main exam interview is conducted.
In pre exam there are three subjects math, reasoning and English. And this exam is objective type. And negative mark is .25 or one fourth of total mark.

You should start doing practice math, reasoning and English. You should purchase a practice set for pre exam and start doing practice set. You have to do at least 4 question paper in a week.
And you have to study all subject topic wise. Daily solve math at least 40 questions and reasoning 35 questions and study English according to the RBI Exam pattern.
Strategy for math of RBI Assistant officer.
For math you have to solve 40 questions of math daily according to the exam pattern. In Pre Exam there are 35 marks in 35 questions

How to prepare for RBI assistant exam 2016
First start solving the simplifications questions. Practice more and more practice of simplification and approximate value questions. After that you should be doing practice of series and quadratic equations.After completing above parts should start arithmetic portion. Start with average, ratio, percentage, profit and loss, simple interest and compound interest, time and work , time and speed, mensuration, mixture allegation. At last you solve the DI questions.

Start practicing topic wise and then solve complete math paper set.
Total time is given 2 hr for complete paper set. In exam there are 5 sections and you should give 40 to 50 min for math section.in Math paper first start to solve simplification than series than quadratic sequestration and than data interpretation at last solve all arithmetic questions.
It is true that you can solve all questions in math section with in time because the question level is easy and with some practice you can solve all question. It is scoring section.
