The overall exam is said to be moderate to difficult.

It is seen that there is no major pattern changes in the exams. The overall level was quite easy and doable for candidates.

The preliminary exam for RBI Assistant was conducted online and had 100 questions for 60 minutes. Candidates have to manage those 60 minutes themselves while dealing with three sections- Reasoning Ability (35 Ques), Numerical Ability (35 Ques), and English Language (30 Ques).

ENGLISH LANGUAGE- 18 -21 ATTEMPTS IN 15 MINS  (EASY TO MODERATE)

The topics covered here were-

  • Reading Comprehension

  • Error based questions

  • Under Spelling Errors

  • Fill in the blanks questions

REASONING ABILITY-   28 -31 ATTEMPTS IN 20 MINS  (VERY EASY)

  • One Circular arrangement question was asked

  • Another was a Floor based puzzle

  • Syllogism questions were direct

  • Numeric Series and Alphabet Series were asked separately

  • Miscellaneous questions included single questions from different topics

  • no questions asked from Inequality.

NUMERICAL ABILITY- 23-36 ATTEMPTS IN  25MINS (EASY TO MODERATE)

  • The DI was based on a tabular graph and the questions were based on basic arithmetic operations

  • The number series was based on Missing numbers and were doable

  • Simplification questions could be solved

  • Questions  were a bit tricky but doable.
