Earthquake Hits Delhi: Increasing Concerns Among Residents

Delhi recently experienced a mild earthquake, adding to the growing concerns of its residents about environmental and geological risks. The tremor, though moderate, highlights the city’s vulnerability to natural events and the need for better preparedness.

Its been strongly felt in Delhi and the NCR region which includes Noida, Ghaziabad, faridabad, and gurgaon. Its been seen at a magnitude of 5.5 in Uttarakhand.

A moderate earthquake was reported approximately 121 km east of the scenic city of Dehradun. According to reports, the tremor occurred around 8:49 PM, causing a noticeable shake in the region. Authorities are monitoring the situation and no major damages have been reported so far.

The Vibration of this Earthquake has also been felt  in Roorkee
