The Sanskrit Class X examination for the academic year 2017-2018 was weighted at a total of 80 marks and was strategically divided into four main sections to ensure comprehensive testing:

Unseen Comprehension (Apathita-Avabodhanam): 10 Marks
Creative Writing (Racanātmakam Kāryam): 15 Marks
