The highly awaited SSC CHSL Tier-1 2018 exam took place from March 4 to 26, 2018, with three shifts daily. Today marked the ninth day of the exam. Across all shifts, the paper ranged from easy to moderate in difficulty.
This breakdown will give fellow aspirants a clear picture of the exam pattern and question toughness. It also dives into the types of questions asked, mark distribution, solid attempt numbers, and topic-wise weightage in each section.

In SSC CHSL Tier-1 Exam 2018, English language section was of easy-moderate level. There were no questions on RC(Reading Comprehension). Instead there was 1 Cloze Test with 5 questions based on it and questions from it were of easy-moderate level.
Cloze test was based on Indian & American markets.
