Last Updated: Jan 14, 2025
Title of the investigation: Techniques to turn challenges into dreams
Life becomes challenging for every challenge. For a young girl named Anshika belonging to a middle-class family in Uttar Pradesh, reaching her dream UPSC Civil Services Examination was full of thorns. The story of Anshika turns out to be an example of how dedication and faith in oneself can really bring an end to this struggle.
Embarking on the UPSC Journey
After the completion of her bachelor’s degree, the decision was taken by Anshika to start her UPSC preparation. An elite class of earnest aspirants generally starts their UPSC classes in coaching institutions. However, Anshika was not an ordinary person. She thought self-study was much better than joining coaching classes. But every great idea comes with its difficulties, English being so vast, making a proper strategy, time management, etc.
A Lesson Drawn Out of Failure
Anshika’s first attempt in the Civil Services Exam, which is considered the mother of all examinations, did not go well. Nonetheless, it was taken as a lesson for her, and she never took it as a failure. All her consecutive wrongs are the crux of the conceptualization of new and better strategies.
Anshika, the ambitious girl, made a mark where she was a failure before by putting her spirit and soul into her fight.
She:
Once upon a time had a trace of some daily goals,
Just aimed at making her weak points impressive,
Caught up with daily happenings from the newspapers and authentic sources
Phased revision is most important and regular
But it was just his persistence; iron-like will that became her biggest strength.
Outcome: Realization of Dreams
Anshika made it successfully through the examinations of the UPSC Civil Services in her second effort. She credits her discipline, self-confidence, and persistent efforts for that.
Toppers’ Inspirations
Anshika’s act is just a ray of light for prep-folk who self-study. That means a very high dream can be achieved if one is focused and works hard.
Lesson from Anshika’s Success
Anshika showed us that there is just failure on the road to success. The most impossible-looking dreams can come true as long as one keeps focus, hard work, and self-determination toward his goal and works on weaknesses through discipline.
