Bank of America is one of the largest multinational banking and finance services in America. It has its headquarter at CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA. In the area of assets it is the second largest company in America, and the fifth largest in terms of revenue. The bank of America was listed as the third largest company in the world by Forbes in the year 2010. Initially Bank of America was bank of italy, then it became bank of America and italy.In 2001, Bank of America CEO was Hugh McColl , however he announced Ken Lewis as his successor.
About 90% of the revenue is generated by domestic market and it aims to become number one in the domestic market. the largest division of this company is the consumer banking , the competetor of this sector is retail banking .
There are three main competitors of Bank of America : Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo.

JOB PROSPECTS AT THE BANK OF AMERICA:
After applying for a post in the Bnk of America , there is a telephonic round , or screening over the phone. In this they basically they tell you what they expect of you for the position you have applied (wages, area, work hours), they also ask why do you want to work in this field and so on overall it is quite easy.
After one qualifies the telephone Screening, we get an email which contains a link to an Assessment Test. This is basically a customer service test where they ask a bunch of situational questions and one has to answer with – agree, strongly agree, not agree.
After one passes the customer services test one is again sent an assessment link which consists all the information to a Group Interview which is usually within 2-3 days. The size of group interview varies.
