St. Stephen’s College is an autonomous college affiliated to the University of Delhi. Thecollege has an intake capacity of approximately 108 girls and 250 boys and provides courses both at the bachelors and masters levels. It admits students on the basis of their scores obtained in the last qualifying examination and cut off percentage set for that particular year.

Shri Ram College of Commerce received affiliation to University of Delhi in 1926. It got its name in 1951 and started its operation from DU campus since 1954. The Jesus & Mary College which was the original idea of the Jesus & Mary Congregation of France was established in India in the year 1968 to impart good quality education. The aim of the college is to spread the word of God among students and their families. The college believes that all round development is possible by growing personally. Today, the Jesus and Mary College of New Delhi enjoys a student ratio of more than 2500 students. The college is a member of the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

Hindu college is one of the oldest and famous colleges under the University of Delhi which got established in 1899 and regarded as one of the most distinguished post-graduate co-educational institutions in the country. The college offers a number of courses in science, arts and commerce streams.

 Hans Raj College is one of the best colleges in the University of Delhi. It was founded by the D.A.V. college managing committee in 1948.This Institute offers quality education in all the three streams- arts, science and commerce. The Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) is one of the most premier colleges in India. In its first academic year, the college had 9 faculty members and 243 students. Today the college offers nearly 16 courses and has a total of 2,000 students with 150 faculty members.

    Delhi University one the best universities of India. Many students set their targets to study in colleges under Delhi University. But not only the reputation of University is important, in addition to that reputation of the college also matters. Here in this article some best colleges under the university is given.
