Black- Darkness or Beam ??
Most of the people think that the word “BLACK” itself represents “darkness”. Black is negative as a color or even if seen in context to anything else. And, white in context to anything, as a color or anything else is always positive. Black and white are often differentiated as the good people and the white people .Sometimes differentiated as the evil v/s good. The people with good thoughts may be considered as whites and the people with bad thoughts or negative thoughts may be considered as blacks. The people of upper caste may be called as whites and the people of lower caste may be called as blacks. Black represents a lack of color, the primordial void, emptiness. Also As a lover of black one may be conservative – black is restricting and contained. Might be a person is very serious for life or is very conservative. He/she does not open up to the other person very easily. Especially in a place like India it is said that it is not to wear Black on good occasions, might be in marriages or puja’s. And so people usually avoid “Black” on such occasions. But as it is said that “After Darkness comes Light” so why to waste time in calculating the pros and cons of anything .One should just enjoy every bit of life, seeing only the positives.
Whereas on the other hand “BLACK” color may also be considered as the symbol of “beam”. Black is authoritative and powerful; because black can evoke strong emotions. It is one of the best color to wear in formal as well as informal parties. It is a classic color for clothing, possibly because it makes the wearer appear thinner and more sophisticated. Also black could be wored with any combination.
Also,
Native Americans thought black was good because it was the color of soil, which gives life. This is how they brought it in a positive way.
1) In England, taxi cabs are traditionally black.
2) In China, black is a traditional clothing color for boys.
3) Almost in every country “Black” I considered as a color of grace and one of the best color to wear in parties.
Black is a color which implies sophistication and power. It is a very royal color, which one wear to look more decent and graceful. Black is the favorite color for many.
- Having a personality color black means that prestige and power are important to the person.
- The person is independent, determined and strong willed..
- The person has very deep emotions and it might be very difficult to break him/her.
Hence there is nothing like “BLACK- Darkness or Beam” .It just depends on the mentality of a person, with what he/she actually considers more. There can be hundreds of negatives about “Black” as well as we can say that there can be hundreds of positives about “Black”. What actually matter is how you perceive it.
“Black” might appear “power” to one at one point whereas at the other point “Black” might appear “incompetance” to you.
Hence keep your thoughts positive and you will see every “Darkness” as a “Beam” itself..!! Otherwise you will revolve around Darkness and see everything as a sign of “Dark”.You will turn negative more and more..

Black is my favorite color and i don’t think it has got anything to do with darkness. Gone are the days where people used to think black as negative. People should be more open minded and look at it just as any other color. It is the more sophisticated and powerful color. Be it cars, clothing, furniture etc black stands out amid all other colors.
For those people who like black color, it is a sign of choice like most of the time people purchase their new goods as of black color. It depend upon the thinking, either you take it as in positive way or in negative. Beam for the optimist.
Black is a decent colour to wear and most preferable among all colours specially in corporate world becoz of its easily matched quality with any theme.Generally this colour enhance the personality of the individual and stand them different in a crowd.I don think it’s a negative energy spreading colour inspite it’s a grooming and attractive colour.
we should never forget black is the colour which absorbs so i think for me the colour black is the one which absorbs all negative thoughts .It is also the colour of Youth 🙂
It is the way a person thinks…it might be good or it might even be bad i.e positive or negative..
beam or darkness…hence “BLACK” for me is the color which shows a beam to go in the right path…
It totally depends on the mentality of people….for some people “BLACK” is a symbol of darkness whereas for some”BLACK” is a symbol of “BEAM”
