The Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering (GATE) is the national level engineering examination that tests mainly the root understanding of students about their undergraduate subjects in engineering and science .It is conducted by Indian institute of science and the IITs. The scores of the students in GATE examination is used for various post graduate programmes like Ph.D , M.tech or M.E. Also the score is used for employment screening process in many public sector units.
