Job Description: Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology (IHBT) recently announces their openings for the post of Research Associate, Project Assistant, Scientist Fellow, JRF & Project Assistant.
Total Number of Vacancies: 14 posts.
Posts:
1. For the post of Research Associate:
Name of the Posts:
- Research Associate (NGS)
- Research Associate (plant level)
Qualification:
- For the serial no.1 , candidates must have the P.HD degree in Bio-informatics
- For the serial no.2 , candidates must have the P.HD degree in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Botany/Biochemistry.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years.
Number of posts: 3 posts
Pay scale: Rs.22,000/- per month.

2. For the post of Project Assistant (Level-1):
Qualification: Graduation (B.Sc) degree from any recognized university in Life science/Food Science & Tech./Chemistry/Food & Neteraceuticals.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 28 years.
Number of posts: 3 posts
Pay scale: Rs.8,000/- per month.
How to apply:
- Eligible Candidates are informed to attend the Walk-in-Interview at CSIR, Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur.
- An application along with CV needs to submit at the time of Interview.
- Must bring all the educational certificates at the time of interview.
3. For the post of Scientific fellow:
Qualification: Candidate should process the P.HD degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Horticulture/Floriculture etc.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 40 years.
Number of posts: 3 posts.
Pay scale: Range 1- Rs.31,000 to 37,200/- per month.
Range 2- Rs.36,000 to 43,200/- per month.

4. For the post of JRF & Project Assistant:
Name of the posts:
- Junior research fellow
- Project fellow
Qualification: Candidates must process in M.Sc with 55% marks in the Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical chemistry.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 28 years.
Number of posts: 5 posts.
Pay scale: Rs.16,000/- per month for the post of JRF.
Rs.12,000/- per month for the post of PA.
How to apply:
- Need to fill up the application form properly and send it to: CSIR, Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur.
- Need to attach the all photocopies of the educational certificates.
