The department of Intelligence Bureau successfully conducted the JIO (Junior Intelligence Officer) Exam II -2016 on 16th of October, 2016. The Exam was conducted in two shifts- 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. The Intelligence bureau conducted the exam to fill 320 Technical Vacancies of JIO all over India. The Application process started on 3rd of September, 2016 and lasted till 24th September 2016. This time intelligence bureau received huge applications from all over India. The respective written test was conducted and the shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The Mode of the exam was offline. The exam carried both Objective and Descriptive questions.
The Level of Written Exam was above average. According to the students of a reputed coaching centre in Delhi/ NCR this was the most typical exam paper for Junior Intelligence Officer in the recent years by Intelligence Bureau. Let us see the exam pattern of Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) II. The exam consisted of two Papers- Paper I (Objective) and Paper II (Descriptive). Paper I carried 80 questions and Paper II carried 40 Questions each. The total of 120 questions have to be attempted worth 160 marks in total time duration of 2 hrs. There was no provision of negative marking. Given Below is the exam Intelligence Bureau JIO II Exam pattern-

The exam covered questions from almost all the subjects mentioned in the syllabus given. Based on the exam paper here are some important subjects to focus. The Exam paper was mashup of both technical as well as non technical subjects like- Physics, Maths, Indian Polity, economics, biology, history, communication , static GK and current affairs.
