                                                                OCTAL TO BINARY CONVERSION

The octal system ( or oct for short ) is the base-8 positional numeral system. It uses the digits 0 to 7 to represent any number. It is used in digital equipment. For example, in the octal system eight is written as 10 and sixty- four is written as 100.

The Binary numeral system is a positional system with a base of 2, in which numeric values are represented using two symbols: 0 and 1. The binary is used in all modern computers and other digital equipment like mobile phones because it can be easily implemented in digital electronics using logic gates.

For examples, in the binary system two is written as 10 and ten is written as 1010.

The conversion of octal number to binary can be obtained by using two methods. First, it can be converted into decimal is converted into binary. In the second method, each digit in the octal number is replaced by its binary equivalent. to get the 3-binary equivalent, first we will find the binary equivalent of digit. If is not in 3 bits, then the zeros are placed before the binary equivalent to make it of 3 bits.

BINARY-OCTAL CONVERTER

BINARY-OCTAL CONVERTER is an online tool used in digital computation to convert either binary number into its equivalent Octal number into its equivalent Binary number. From the above, this calculator is comprises of two converters namely Binary to otal converter and octal to binary converter and it is separated by the respective radio button.

OCTAL TO BINARY CONVERSION- In order to get the equivalent binary number for the given octal number , write the individual octal digit in its equivalent octal digit in its equivalent binary numbers from the below conversion table that yields you the binary number equivalent. The below example lets you the understand the hex to binary conversion clear.

Example: Convert Hexadecimal number (536) to its binary equivalent.
