Eligibility to apply-
The candidates who have got 60% through out Madhyamik (10th), Higher Secondary (12th) and up to 8th semester in B.Tech /B.E can only sit in recruitment process of the company. Engineering Graduates or Postgraduates with the specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Philips Recruitment Procedure-
There are mainly 3 steps in the Philips recruitment procedure that a candidate need to face during the process.These are-
- Written Exam
- Technical Interview.
- HR Interview
Now lets find more details about the three above mentioned steps-
1. Written Exam
In the written exam, we are asked questions in three different sections and a limited time period is allotted to complete the exam. The details of this written exam is as follow-
No of questions: 50
Total time: 60 mins
No Negative Marking will be done for a wrong answer.
Section 1- This section consists of Analytical Questions in which a total of 15 questions will be asked.
Section 2- In this section of the written exam, the question paper consists of 15 questions on C & Data structures.
Section 3- This section will have questions from your branch in which you have specialisation. The Electronics & Communication Engineering Students will be asked questions from Electronics, Communication, Electrical and Networking fields. There will be 20 questions in this section.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Students will be asked questions from Electrical, Electronics and from their field of engineering.
And the Computer Science & Engineering Students will be asked questions on different Algorithms and Operating Systems.
2. Technical Interview
In this round you will asked some technical questions on different languages like C,C++, Oracle, .Net etc. and on different operating systems.
3. HR Interview
HR Interview round will be much more easy one. In this round, your communication skills and your confidence level are checked. The questions will be asked about you, your strength, your weakness, the values you respect, why should they hire you, what will you do if you are asked to manage a project which will definitely skip its deadline etc.
