Logic Gate:

• Logic gates are not only fundamental building blocks of digital systems but heart of system.
• Logic gate is a device which produces output depending upon the possible combinations of input.

There are seven basic types of logic gates and here we have tried to define all seven logic gates:

1. AND Gate
2. OR Gate
3. NOT Gate
4. NAND Gate
5. NOR Gate
6. EX-OR Gate
7. EX-NOR Gate

Truth Table:

• A table which has all the possible combinations of input variables and the corresponding outputs is called a truth table.
• It shows how the logic circuit’s output responds to various combination of logic levels at the input.
• Truth table are used to show logic gate functions in all frames.
•  while constructing a truth table, the binary values 1 and 0 are used in all frames.

AND Gate:

• As name “AND” suggests AND Gate has two or more inputs but only one output.
• The  AND Gate is an electronic circuit according to its name and function that gives a true output (1) only if all inputs are true.
•  A dot (.) is used to show AND Gate operation i.e., A.B.

he AND gate is a basic digital logic gate that implements logical conjunction – it behaves according to the truth table to the right. A HIGH output results only if both the inputs to the AND gate are HIGH.also known as universal gate ,so this is important for electronics students.
