The prelims exam for all the shifts for Day2 is over. Many students appeared for the exam and we have collected information from them along with few questions. SBI PO prelims exam pattern 

A very different pattern was introduced in the exam this time. Sectional time was provided for each of the three section. The first section was English section followed by reasoning and maths. Also, you don’t have to worry about clearing the sectional cut off as it has been omitted from the prelims exam. Let’s have a look in the exam pattern.

OVERALL GOOD ATTEMPTS:

The exam overall was of moderate level. Out of the three sections, one of the sections was comparatively difficult and the other two were of moderate level. You can check the overall good attempts for Day 2 of the exam. Also kindly let us know how much you have attempted in the exam.

SECTION WISE ANALYSIS( with questions asked)

English Language (Moderate)

The English paper was of a moderate level. Students could easily attempt 20+ questions. There were 5-6 questions on reading comprehension with around 1-2Qs on vocabulary. Reading Comprehensions were based on

  • an article related to women empowerment.
  • an article related to crop production

Reasoning (Moderate – Lengthy)

Reasoning section throughout the exam was of moderate to lengthy level. Same was the scenario today. Students could attempt fewer questions in this section. Puzzles were time-consuming but apart from puzzles, the other questions were easy to score.

Numerical Ability (Moderate)

The level of paper was moderate. Students who have prepared well are sure to score good marks. Data Interpretation(Pie chart /Bar graph/Tabular-Missing values/ caselet)was asked in the exam and the questions based on arithmetic calculation were also calculative. The miscellaneous word problems which involved topics like time and work, profit, and loss, SI and CI, Time speed and distance, partnership, average, etc were a little time-consuming.
