The University of Central Missouri was founded in the year 1871 with just a few dozen students. And now, more than 140 years later, it is serving nearly 12,000 students from the state, regional, national and international levels. The university also has a diverse representation of international students from nearly 50 countries worldwide. Their experience transforms the students into lifelong learners, dedicated to service, with the knowledge, skills and confident to succeed and lead in the region, state, nation and world.
