IBPS PO and SBI PO both are same post but many people choose IBPS PO job as they consider it the less difficult as compared to SBI PO. Well, it all depends on personal choice. Opinion may vary from person to person. The PO in a bank has so many tasks to do. He/she offers services to clients, handle cash activities, payment clearance, manage accounts of clients, official communication and increases business of the associated bank.

A probationary officer is the backbone of any bank and he/she works as cashier, consultant and much more. A PO has to solve queries of customers and handle their problems. He/she also offers marketing services to the clients.  They have to promote new deals and offers of banks. A PO has to promote insurance, FD, mutual funds, bonds and much more. SBI PO:

SBI PO exam is largest bank and this is largest banking exam. The number of vacancies is lesser than IBPS PO so competition is high. SBI is the largest commercial bank and everyone wants to be the part of it.

Working of PO is same in both SBI and other public sector banks. Career and promotion growth is same in both banks but salary amount is the only thing that creates a difference.  Heavy amount of salary is credited to the accounts of probationary officers of SBI and increment is also a perk.

DA: 46.9% of Basic Pay

Total Salary: 45,000/month

 

IBPS PO:

In other banks branches are limited and you don’t get transferred frequently.  You may get posted in the circle of your wish or home circle.In public sectors bank salary of probationary officer is same.

Basic Pay: 23700

DA: 10163

Total Including HRA: 38700
