Why was the Jaipur shift cancelled and what’s next?
The shift scheduled for September 2, 2026, at the iDZ Sitapura centre in Jaipur was abruptly cancelled due to technical issues during the examination. These skill tests assess the candidates’ proficiency in typing, shorthand, and transcription, which are essential for the roles. Only candidates who meet the prescribed benchmarks will advance to the next stage.
Document verification and medical examination
Candidates who successfully clear the skill test will undergo Document Verification (DV). During this stage, the conducting body will check original educational certificates, category documents, and identity proofs. It is crucial for candidates to carry all required documents in their original form to avoid disqualification.
Following document verification, candidates will undergo a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) conducted by a Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) medical board. The DME assesses the candidates’ physical and medical fitness to ensure they meet the health standards required for the posts. Only candidates who pass the DME will be considered for final selection.
