ACCESSING THE CLOUD :
All public clouds are available only if there is access to the internet. We can access any application through a well designed web browser if and only if that application is fully designed for the cloud . Web browser like the Google Chrome, Explorer etc are best suited for cloud accessing . An utility application is required if the data that is depending on the cloud server is not structured .
CLOUD STORAGE :
Data is both managed and maintained one after another and is provided to users over the internet through a cloud storage model.
There are mostly three types of cloud storage models:
1> Hybrid cloud: is the combination of atleast one private cloud and one public cloud.
All the structured and well defined data are stored in a private cloud and all archival data are stored in the public cloud.
2> Private cloud: It contains a proper environment within the firewall of the company .This type of cloud provides good customization and high control over the data.
3>Public cloud: The public cloud provides multiple user environment, very suitable for data that are not that are not structured.
The advantages of cloud storage are:
1> It helps various organizations to maintain and manage tasks.
2> It allows users to use a variety of resources and applications.
3> It also helps in importing images from one location to another.
4> Cloud storage id redundant, highly durable and fault tolerant.
Cloud storage although is cost efficient but sometimes can act expensive for many organizations. There are various options of cloud storage available in the market which is an enormous advantage for various organizations .
