What Is Bihar Judicial Service Exam ?

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.

BPSC  conducted examination selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and practical tests, physical efficiency test and interview.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announces the notification to fill such vacancies in districts courts of Bihar. Candidates, who have completed their graduation degree in law from any recognized institute, will be eligible to apply and appear for the Bihar Judicial Services Examination.

► The written test will be multiple choice objective type.

What is Eligibility For Bihar Judicial Service Exam

The details of the eligibility criteria have been given here:

Nationality

  • A candidate needs to be the citizen of India.

Domicile of Bihar-

  • Moreover, a candidate needs to be having the domicile of Bihar to get the reservation benefits.
  • The candidates, who have a permanent domicile in the state of Bihar and belong to the reserved category, will be offered the relaxation in their upper age.

Education-

  • Applicants must have completed the Bachelor level education in law from any recognized institute.

Age-

  • The age of the applicants must be between 22 years and 35 years.

Reservation-

  • The age relaxation for the candidates of the OBC category will be of 3 years.
  • The candidates of the SC and ST category will get the age relaxation of 5 years.
  • The candidates, who have a permanent domicile in the state of Bihar and belong to the reserved category, will be offered the relaxation in their upper age.
