Being a student of Borthakur’s IAS Academy student (for the last 3 months) of the classroom program I must say this is the best Institute and the best guidance and support system one could get in Guwahati for civil service preparation. Teaching Methodology, booklets, meticulously designed classes, assignments, and their evaluation, friendly teachers and staff who are always ready to clear your doubts make this Institute unique and far better. Thank u Borthakur’s IAS Academy… I m very gladly as I have chosen the right one. The best APSC/ UPSC coaching center in North East… The teachers and faculties are too good…. friendly environment. In my experience Borthakur, IAS academy is the best civil service coaching institute. I learned many things from this institution. The facilities and the teachers are fantastic.

Waste of time and money at the time of admission they show you various batches starting in various time slots whichever you prefer as per own convenience and after you paid the fee each and every day they will change the timing of class and venue too. Also, their so-called eminent faculty from Delhi will take all the classes including GS and optional which he has no specialization ending up in a mess as its simple no one can be master of all genres at the same time. And in every batch they cannot complete the syllabus as their faculty from Delhi has limited time so what they do is combining two batch in a new batch which means after you spent there 2 months your class will stop you have to wait for a new batch to start to resume your syllabus from the point you left which usually takes a 2/3 months gap so once you pay your money they will do whatever they wish no concern for aspirants time and money. Very appalling management and very unprofessional in addressing issues by them. This is a genuine review as I am currently enrolled as a student in the coaching center. There is too little of a sincerity, either in allotment of subjects, timings and of teachers to their respective subjects or acting upon any other grievances faced by the students. So many of the aforementioned crises and several others arise as the management is pretty oblivious in the prioritizing of the subjects and their mealy-mouthed demeanor.
