Selecting an appropriate school for your child is not as simple as it seems. Education patterns, School Fees, Transport facilities, extracurricular activities, basic amenities etc are the major questions which keep on striking in our mind during the selection of a school for our kids. And believe me, a large number of schools can be eliminated by keeping all these options in mind. After all, we do not change school frequently and for some, this is the one time process. Recently I have gone through this back-breaking task of selecting the best school for my daughter which not only provides the best education but also a secure environment so that our children can grow and learn in a safe surrounding.
For this reason, I have been to many schools especially the one in north Delhi as I am a resident of north Delhi only. Some schools have unnecessarily very high fees structure, some have low education standards, some were lacking in basic safety features like CCTV cameras or broken boundaries. But when I visited Sant Sujan Singh Ji International School in North Delhi all my worries were come to end. The first and foremost thing that I liked is the fusion of traditional and modern education system. They deliver modern education on the line of traditional ethics. Within the short span of time they have proved their mettle and emerged has the best school in North Delhi. Along with studies they emphasis on the co-curricular activities to enhance the inner strength of a child. They have a huge list of indoor and outdoor games and have made compulsory for each and every student to participate in at least one activity. In sports, they have an individual coach for every game whether it is cricket or table-tennis, basketball or volleyball and as a result, their girls’ basketball team had won the state championship last year, I saw their trophy in achievement block.
Apart from sports they organise or participate in many inter-school competitions like maths Olympiad, GK Quiz, Debate competition etc to have an on-stage exposure and to develop the competitive approach among the students. Secure campus, adequate guards, well-built school building and fully equipped computer and other subject labs are the main reason by which we can evaluate their education standard. Student to teacher ratio is low so that teachers can give equal attention to every student. While understanding the working style of school from the admission coordinator I came to know about the music band of the school and I was highly impressed by seeing that they have all the instruments to play and that too in a well-maintained condition. My daughter has an affinity for music and she had decided to join this school as soon as she saw the music room.
The last factor which was the last nail in the coffin is their affordable fees and adequate transport facility. Due to all these factors, I decided to go for Sant Sujan Singh Ji International School and can proudly say that it is the best School in north Delhi.
