Financial Management and its Career Prospects
Financial Management is defined as the effective and efficient management of money (funds) in such a manner in order to develop the financial skills and discuss the financial policy decisions in a global economy. The objective of this course is to understand
- The value of the money and financial markets,
- Valuation of stocks and bonds,
- The cost of capital and capital markets
- Short and long-term financing etc.
This course familiarizes students with accounting terminology and methods so that they can analyze, interpret, and evaluate published corporate financial reports. Financial Management covers following areas:
- Valuation of real and financial assets
- Financial derivatives and Risk management
- The trade-off between risk and expected return and
- Corporate financing and dividend policy.

Eligibility Criteria:
I. For Under Graduate Courses-
To take an admission into UG courses applying candidates must be passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks form the Central Board / State board.
II. For Post Graduate Courses-
To take an admission into PG courses candidates need to be completed their bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institute.
