IAS is one of the most aspired career in India by many students and it’s UPSC exam is one of the most difficult exams in India to crack. A lot of students give exam to become an IAS officer but there are only around 800 students who are able to crack the exam and are selected for the IAS training. It is a coaching center in Delhi established in 2003 which provides free coaching for IAS to SC/ST/OBC/EWS students. It provides free coaching under a government scheme called Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana and this scheme is only applicable for Delhi students. It provides coaching for IAS and PCS especially General studies and optional. Coaching is provided in 2 languaged Hindi and English. This scheme is implemented for the students to motivate them to prepare for the competitive exams without worrying about the fees of the coaching so that they can get suitable jobs in the private or public sector. It has provided coaching for many other competitive exams along with the civil services.

In UPSC CSE 2019 Plutus IAS has Given Maximum Selection the IAS Exam. Out of 80 students, 43 have cracked the IAS Exam.

Rules and regulations of the scheme

For the free coaching, the students must get a particular percentage marks in the qualifying examinations that are conducted to select the students who will get free coaching. This scheme is applicable for the students who have done their 10th or 12th from schools in Delhi. The family income of the students should not be more than 8 Lacs per year. All of the fees is provided by the government itself. All the certificate regarding income, caste etc are taken by the Institute as the proof. Also, the benefit of this scheme can only be taken twice even if the number of chances to attempt the exams are more than that. At the second time of the benefit of this scheme, the government provides only 50 percent of the fees. Although, if the candidate is selected for the interview, there are no restrictions on number of coaching for the interview. Also, the coaching is free for both mains and prelims. The students should conduct all the classes for the coaching and if a student does not attend the classes for more than 15 days and without any valid reason, then he will be suspended from the coaching and new students will be insteaded in their place. The ratio of government and private school students admission is 75:25. Plus, the benefit of this coaching is that a monthly stipend of Rs 2500/- per month is paid to each student through cheque for attending the classes. This, this coaching is a lot beneficial for all the SC and other backward caste students.
