Delhi Metro rail corporation has already released its Updated Exam schedule.  DMRC will be conducting all its Junior Engineering  exams in the month of January. Given below is the  exam pattern in tabular form-

The DMRC will be conducting its written exam online this time. This is for the first time that the Exam will be a Computer Based Test. First of all let us see the exam pattern of the Written exam-

The Exam Pattern of Written Exam for DMRC  (Junior Engineer- Electrical) –

The exam will carry  Subjects like General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude ,Relevant trade and General English. There will be two papers Paper I and Paper II. There will be negative marking also . About 1/3rd marks of total marks will be deducted from total marks.

Paper II

In paper II the section includes English Subject . In English section there will be 60 questions which are to be attempted in 45 minutes. There is no gap in Paper I and Paper II. Both the Sections are to be attempted together.

Important Strategies for Exam

a) In Junior Engineering exam the focus is laid on one’s individual professional knowledge section. Therefore one should go through the basics of engineering branch.

b) The Level of Questions won’t be that of  GATE Examination. The Difficulty level will also be lowered . There will simple concepts based questions i.e no need of Calculator.

c) Important formulas of numericals should be thoroughly revised before the exam.

d) As far as General aptitude is considered a candidate should focus on Static GK from Subjects- Indian History, Geography and Indian Polity. One Should have an eye on important current affairs including international relations ,Important days, countries, currencies, capitals and Important personalities.

e) For Quantitative Aptitude topics like trigonometry , geometry, profit and loss, compound interest should focussed.

f) English is a section which is indispensable from DMRC point of view and there is a separate paper for english.

g) A candidate should focus on topics like Narration, Voice, Subject Verb Agreement, comprehension and antonym, synonym.
