HP Placement Criteria & Process

The candidates who have got 60% through out Madhyamik (10th), Higher Secondary (12th) and up to 8th semester in B.Tech /B.E can only sit in this procedure.

Candidate type required: Engineers (graduates/post graduates) of Computer Sciences/ Electronics & Communication/ Information Technology.

There are mainly 4 processes in HP Placement process.

  1. Written exam.
  2. GD
  3. Technical Interview.
  4. HR Interview.
  1. 1.     Written exam

No of questions: 80

Total time: 60minutes

20 Questions on Aptitude+English+Logical

Section 1: – Quantitative maths 10th level maths. Example: Age problem, Time &  Speed, Time &                       Work, Profit & loss, Percentage, Algebra, Trigonometry, Mensuration.

Section 2: –Logical Reasoning question based on Series, Coding, Blood Relations,and Analogy.

Section 3: -English Usage & Verbal logic Para jumbles, Antonym-Synonyms.

Section 4: –Reading the comprehension in 7mins & take 3mins for answering the questions.

     20 Questions on C.

     40    questions on OS(Important), FAFL, DBMS, OS, UNIX(2questions), C++, Network(Basic).

  1. 2.     Group Discussion

                  Each group will comprise of 12 students may be. Each group got different topic.The topic may be about some current affairs, may be country economy, may be some technical topic which in your stream subject or others.

  1. 3.     Technical Interview

                In this round you are asked some technical question on C(Process oriented programing language),C++(Object oriented programing language), Oracle, OS, .Net etc. This is a elimination round.

  1. 4.     HR Interview

                 It is very easy round. Here they will check your communication skill and your confidence. Here they will ask about yourself, your weakness, your strengths etc.
