Important update: The original HP (Hewlett-Packard) split into two separate publicly-listed companies on 1 November 2015: HP Inc.   2. Coding round, 2–3 programming problems testing data structures, algorithms and problem-solving.
  3. Technical interviews (2 rounds), DSA, OOPs, computer networks, operating systems, DBMS, projects discussion.
  4. Managerial interview, Team fit, work-style, behavioural questions.
  5. HR interview, Compensation, location preferences, joining timeline.

HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) Placement Criteria 2026

Eligibility

  • Educational qualification: BE/BTech (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE) or MCA / MTech / MS.
  • Aggregate marks: 65% throughout (10th, 12th, UG/PG) or CGPA 6.5+.
  • No active backlogs.
  • Skills preferred: Programming proficiency in Java/Python/C++/Go, knowledge of Linux/Unix, networking fundamentals, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP basics).

Selection Process

  1. Aptitude + technical screening test, Online assessment covering aptitude, technical MCQs and 1–2 coding questions.
  2. Coding interview, DSA-heavy round on a collaborative coding platform.
  3. Technical interview (Round 2), System design (junior level), networking, OS internals, DBMS and project deep-dive.
