IBPS PO prelims 2018 will be conducted on 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st October.  Many students all over India have applied for the post of a probationary officer in the prestigious PSBs. They have toiled for days only for this day

Today is the second day of IBPS PO Prelims 2018. The exam will be held today in four shifts. And here we bring forward the exam analysis for shift 3 of 14th October along with the number of questions, marks distribution and questions asked in the exam after collecting information from the students who have appeared for the exam.

Go through the analysis so that you can analyze your performance. If you are one among those, who are yet to appear in the exam, this analysis will give you an idea of the questions that will be asked in your shift.

Sectional timing has been introduced this year and each section has a sectional time of 20 minutes. The sequence of the exam was English, Reasoning and Quantitative aptitude.

English (Easy-Moderate)

This section was of easy to moderate level. Reading comprehension was based on an article related to the Impact of technology and Artificial Intelligence on job markets. Out of the seven questions of RC, two questions were based on vocabulary(Antonyms and synonyms). With the introduction  of sectional time, students have ample time to solve all the questions in this section. However, you need to be very sure while attempting these questions.

Reasoning (Moderate)

The level of this section was moderate. Unlike shift 1 and shift 2, questions from inequalities and coding decoding were asked in the exam . Four sets of puzzle and seating arrangement were asked.

The paper was of moderate level. There were few question on approximation. 3 sets of DI based on Tabular, Caselet and Bar Graph were asked in this shift.
