Total number of questions: 150
Total marks: 125 (50 for Maths. 50 for Reasoning and 25 for English)
Exam duration: 2 hours
Negative marking: 1/4th marks for each wrong answer

Syllabus for Reasoning
Types of questions that can be asked form the examiner will be of verbal and non verbal reasoning.In Verbal Reasoning, number and alphabetical series, Coding and decoding, Simple mathematical Reasoning, odd one out, relational ranking, time sequence set
In non verbal reasoning:Series completion and finding missing figures, some types of figure images etc.
QA Syllabus for IBPS SO CWE
Number Systems types questions, Decimal fractions, Speed and distance, Time and work, Profit loss, Average, Questions like Simple and Compound Interest, Data Interpretation, Probability and Charts and Graphs.
Professional Knowledge for IBPS SO 2017
The Professional Knowledge section of the IBPS Specialist Officer exam consists of 50 questions. These questions are generally based on the candidate’s graduation-level subjects as well as current affairs related to the field. It is recommended to refer to good graduation-level books for preparation. This exam is conducted for candidates who qualify the Preliminary exam, so while preparing for IBPS Specialist Officer, one should not give less importance to the Prelims as it is the first step to reach the professional knowledge stage.
