Job Description:
- National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) has been announced its vacancies for the post of Scientist, RA and LAB Assistant.
- Also it is going to conduct the recruitment of consultant posts.
Total Vacancies:
For the serial number one: 4 posts
For the serial number two: As per number of vacant posts
Department wise Vacancy:
1. For the post of Junior Scientist:
Qualification: MBBS degree from any recognized university those which have the approval from Medical Council of India.
Key Skill:
- Working experience in Malaria affected areas.
- Fluency in English
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Language: Hindi & Oriya
Age limit: Upper age limit is 35 years. 3 years relaxation is available for the SC/ST/PH candidates.
Number of posts: 1 post
Pay scale: Rs.50400/- per month.
2. For the post of Research Assistant:
Qualification: M.Sc in Life or Applied Sciences with relevant experience with molecular biology techniques.
Key skills:
- Good communication skill
- MS Dos working experience
- Good computer knowledge
- Language: Hindi & Oriya
Age limit: Upper age limit is 28 years.
Number of posts: 1 post
Pay scale: Rs.23,220/- per month.

3. For the post of Laboratory Assistant:
Qualification: Successful completion in 10+2 level along with a one year Diploma in DMLT from any recognized university.
Key skills:
- Malaria microscopy experience
- Fluency in English
- Language: Hindi & Oriya
Age limit: Age must be ranges between 18 to 28 years.
Number of posts: 2 post
Pay scale: Rs.13,760/- per month.
4. For the post of Consultant:
Qualification: Candidates must have the Masters Degree in Biological Sciences or Masters Degree with Ph.D in the relevant discipline with knowledge of Basic Computer Applications and two years of relevant working experience.
Age limit: No specified age limit. Retired persons can also apply for the Post.
Number of vacancies: As per empty seats in the NIMR.
Pay scale: Rs. 33,306/- per month.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected as per their Interview.

- Those who fulfill the criteria for the post he/she applied for, must attend the walk in interview at Post No.3 at NIMR Field Station, Sector 5, Rourkela, Orissa.
- During the interview session candidates are informed to bring their CV along with relevant work experience certificates.
- For the serial number 4, candidates can able to attend the interview at NIMR, Sector-8, Dawrka, New Delhi- 110077.
- 5-6 recent passport size photograph and ID proof is urgent for the interview.
