According to student reviews “I am from BIS (Grade 12), did my IB. Prior to this I was at Indus and prior to that CIS. So International Schools is something that I have been a part of since high school. As a student who wishes to apply abroad, I kept switching schools thinking I will get a better counseling department. But this never happened, each school was a huge disappointment and everything just dint work out. My high school counselor Ms Geeta Jayanth from BIS, was clueless about the application process, in any case schools will do only submissions of recos and marksheets. Rest all is the students part. Becuase of Ms Jayanth’s suggestion I applied to a university called Pace University in the US and got accepted. I later got to know that Miss Jayanth was made an agent for that university and was being given a cut out of the tuition fees I was to pay to the university. In all this, I happened to meet the Paramount Team and the counselor explained me how pathetic Pace University is and that I should not be going there. We discussed my options and today I am attending George Mason University which is a well respected and reputable university in the US. Since I was too late in the game, I dint have much choices but Paramount did give me an option like GMU to apply too.
