Scholarship for Indian Students at the National University of Singapore is a great opportunity for talented individuals. National University of Singapore began over a century ago as a modest medical school with 23 students, to serve a very powerful purpose i.e., to be the place of higher learning for talented men and women in Singapore who would serve the community, nation, and society. From a fledgling college, NUS developed into an institution considered by many to be among the best in the world. Their transformative education and high-impact research are aimed at making a distinctive and positive impact on society.

Being one of the finest institutes, students from all over the globe aim to pursue their higher education, especially their Master’s degree from this university. But many times such a situation happens where the students are unable to afford the fees for studying anywhere outside their own countries. So the university has been providing some scholarships to the students, especially to those who are very talented, intelligent, and can excel in their future if some support is given.

So here we have given the details of the scholarships available at the National University of Singapore. Here we have mainly concentrated on the Indian students.

Scholarship for Indian Students

1.       NGS Scholarship (NGSS)

Eligibility of the Students:

Anybody except one from Singapore who has a passion for cross-disciplinary research in science, engineering, computing, related aspects of medicine, etc. The students must have at least 2^nd Upper Honours or equivalent qualifications and must have appeared for GRE and TOEFL.

Scholarship Amount: $3,200 per month up to the year of completion of the course along with Computer, Book, and Conference allowances.

2.       A*Star Graduate Scholarship (AGS)

Eligibility of the Students: Anybody can apply. But the condition is that Singapore citizenship must be taken. The students must be at least 2^nd Upper Honours or equivalent qualifications, must have a good ‘O’ or ‘A’ level track record, merits will also be considered, and may have appeared for the GRE.

Scholarship Amount: $3,300 per month up to the year of completion of the course

Application Process:

For Application to A*STAR Graduate Scholarship ONLY:

(A) On-line Application AND Hardcopy Submission

2. NUS Graduate Admission System @ http://www.nus.edu.sg/ngs/Instruction_on_application_submission_to_NGS.html
   Select “A*STAR Graduate Scholarship” as the Source of Finance.
   Note your hardcopy package should include
   1. application forms
   2. all supporting documents required on http://www.nus.edu.sg/ngs/Instruction_on_application_submission_to_NGS.htm

2. 1. • duly completed and signed printout of the application form from (A)(1), and
      • duly completed and signed printout of the application form from (A)(2)

Send the hardcopy package to the address below, clearly indicating “Application for A*STAR Graduate Scholarship” on the hardcopy submission:

(C) Hardcopy Submission

1. NGS Scholarship: Your hardcopy package should contain all the supporting documents listed on https://isep.nus.edu.sg/Instruction_on_application_submission_to_NGS.html to be delivered to NGS (address below).

This application form printout will have your selected “NGS Scholarship” as the Source of Finance.

2. A*Graduate Scholarship
An exact duplicate of your NGS Scholarship package, with one exception

both duly completed and signed printouts of the AGS application form, generated from

A(1), followed by a duly completed and signed printout of the NGSS application form, generated from

A(2).For this particular application form printout, please PEN down “A*STAR Graduate Scholarship” beside “NGS Scholarship” for the Source of Finance.

Deliver both (1) and (2) in separate envelopes to NGS’ address below:
