Scholarships for Indian Students at University of Kent
The University of Kent is a public research university in UK. It is ranked number 3 by the National Student Survey. This university offers different types of master’s scholarships for the students who are seeking admission at this university. The International, Home and EU students are eligible for this master’s scholarship. All the scholarships cover a certain amount in addition to the Kent £ 1,000 loyalty discount. But for this the applicants must have a first class honors degrees or their non – UK equivalents and to very good upper 2.1 GPA i.e., 68 %+. The applications must be submitted by electronically before the end of the given deadline.
Given below are the details of the scholarships provided to the students seeking admission in the Masters’ degree. The scholarship shortlisted here are mainly for the Indian students who have completed their graduation from a recognized university.
The scholarships are:
1. Taught Masters Scholarship
The school awards a certain amount to all the applicants those who have accepted a place on one of the following programs, will be automatically considered for a scholarship. There is no need to make a separate application
Eligibility: Any candidates may apply. The candidates must have First Class honors degrees or their equivalent non – UK degree along with a very good upper 2.1 GPA (i.e., 68 %+)
Scholarship Amount: £ 500 plus £ 1,000 Kent Loyalty amount

2. Rome Masters’ Scholarship for Overseas Students
The University of Kent at Rome offers this scholarship for taught Master’s students. Faculty of Humanities’ Scholarship consists of a fee waiver and a full maintenance stipend valid on a taught Master’s programme in the Rome suite of programmes.
Eligibility: Any students from UK, EU and overseas can apply. But the candidates must hold a first – class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an equivalent non – UK qualification or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent
Scholarship Amount: This scholarship consists of a fee waiver which is of worth £ 5,590 and a full maintenance stipend on £ 13,590 and it is valid on a taught Master’s programme in the Rome suite of programmes.

3. Postgraduate Scholarship
Scholarship payments vary from a one – off payment of a few hundred pounds to tuition fees at the home rate and / or maintenance payments at the same rate as the UK Research Councils. The scholarships will be offered for one year in the first instance, renewable for a maximum of three years subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Eligibility: Any students from UK, EU and overseas can apply. But the candidates must hold a first – class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an equivalent non – UK qualification or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent
Scholarship Amount: £ 13,590 per annum for one year and is renewable up to three years

4. SECL Academic Excellence Scholarship
The School of European Culture and Languages is offering this scholarship for the academic year.
Eligibility: Any students from UK, EU and overseas can apply. But the candidates must hold a first – class Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject, or hold an equivalent non – UK qualification or distinction in a relevant subject or equivalent. And the candidate in addition the candidate must have accepted on the MA program
Scholarship Amount: £ 4,950 (part value of overseas fees)
