Yes their should be private universities, but the fee structure of private university is too high as compare with government. If you are looking forward to do any course then you can good government college so that fees would also be less and quality of study would also be good.

Private university are not bad.See not all the students can get the admission in government university because government universities does not have that number of seats. So there must be private university for those students who does not get admission in government universities. Also private university have good infrastructure, some private universities also have good status of education.

  3. Manisha Chawla says:

Yes, I believe that there should be private universities. As government universities has reservation quota, many general caste students do not get the opportunity of studying there even if they are deserving. These people can’t remain illiterate. So,private universities are the best option for them. Private universities provide better facilities than some of the Government universities. But, they have main disadvantage of their high fee structure which becomes the main hurdle for middle class and poor students.

  4. Urvashi Khanduja says:

Fee structure of private universities is high as compare to the government universities.Middle class cannot afford the fees of private universities. They cannot able to send their juvenile in private universities for higher education.

  5. Gourav Jain says:

Yes why not? When everything is getting privatized then why not education.
I completely support for private universities, obviously those granted by UGC, because it brings about variability in the education system and as a result of which competition increases and competition is good for development and growth.

private universities are must, as government has stored large place on reservation of seats and if private universities are not there wat bout the major part of people in general quota?
will government serve all of them? private universities should manage and conduct exams properly and separately and throw a competitative blow to the government universities..
