Tamil Nadu Board Previous Years English Paper of Class X Solved
The Tamil Nadu Board of Secondary Education was established in 1910 and now it is beneath the horizon of the Department of Education, Government of Madras, India. Up to the secondary class i.e., Class X level, the subsequent streams of education which are offered are:
1. the SSLC (Secondary college exploit Certificate) stream
2. the Anglo-Indian stream
3. the Oriental college exploit Certificate (OSLC) stream
4. the metric stream
The given time length for the scholars to finish the paper is 2 and half hours.
And for the higher secondary classes i.e., class XI and XII, there is a single unified stream which results in the award of the upper Secondary Certificate (HSC). The Madras State Board of faculty Examination evaluates students’ progress by conducting 2 board examinations –

- and the other at another tip of sophistication i.e., Class XII
The scores from the category of Class XII board examinations are employed by universities to see the eligibility and is considered as a cut-off for admissions into their programmes. Tamil Nadu SSLC could also be said as a Gymnasium which is going away with Certificate examination of the State Board. This communication is comparable to category of Class X also. English is one among those subjects that have a total of 2 papers and each paper consists of a hundred marks.
The English Paper of Class X is divided particularly in 4 sections:-
Section A: Reading section.
It is having two set of five multiple choice questions in which only one answer is correct. You have to choose the correct one for each MCQs.
Section B: Writing section.
Contains questions related to different passages.
Section C: Linguistics / Grammar section
Contains all linguistics / grammar related questions.
Section D: Translation section
Carries question from the fiction or poetry which is within the course curriculum.
