Its true now Goa got more colleges of Engineering. But the admissions should be done on the basis of merit of candidates which can be determined from either HSSC public exam or GCET17 conducted by Goa DTE,and under no circumstances the real meritorious students shld suffer for the rumoured manipulation of GCET 17 marks by many highly influential in Computer feed evaluation ( that can be preprogrammed to add fixed marks in each subject for roll numbersfixed),in other words GCET marks not reflecting true merit( many who got 40 to 50% in HSSC public( not manipulated as marks not cnsdrd for admns to professional course) got 70 to 85%( no negative marks even if answer wrong) in GCET17,being the last Entrance test under the control of Goa,resulting in helping the undeserved at the expense of really meritorious who scored around 65 to 90% in HSSC reflecting true merit of 12 months.Better pvt Engineering managements fill up their seats based on giving equal weight age to both HSSC&GCET17 in case they are forced to consider GCET17 marks for admissions. If pvt colleges also miss most important point that undeserving( through unfair means) should never get benefit at the expense of real meritorious

Education in Goa is a good choice.Goa India’s smallest state by area and the fourth smallest by population. Located in West India in the region known as the Konkan, it is bounded by the state of Maharashtra to the north, and by Karnataka to the east and south, while the Arabian Sea forms its western coast.
