  • Photograph and signature: Upload files in the exact size and format asked in the notification. Most rejections in earlier cycles happened due to unclear photographs.

Step by step OTR guidance is available in our earlier post on UPPSC OTR steps and common mistakes.

Four Month Study Plan for Prelims on December 6

The December 6 prelims gives fresh applicants a little over four months. Split it into three blocks. Spend the first eight weeks on NCERT foundations, UP specific geography, polity and economy. Use the next six weeks for previous year papers of UPPSC, which repeat themes far more often than UPSC. Reserve the final four weeks for mock tests and revision of UP current affairs, state budget and government schemes.

Aspirants targeting both UPSC and UP PCS should prepare a common core and add UP special topics separately. Structured dual preparation programs are run by the best IAS coaching in Delhi, while The Hinduzone can help you compare UP PCS specific batches across institutes before you pay any fee.

Why This Attempt Matters for 2027 Aspirants

Students who plan their first serious attempt in 2027 should still study this cycle closely. The UPPSC pattern now mirrors UPSC in analysis based questions, and the December 2026 paper will be the best indicator of what the 2027 examination will look like. Solving this year’s paper within a week of the exam is the cheapest mock test you will ever get.
