- Current affairs of your profile: issues that touch your state, sector and degree.
Aim for 150 to 200 questions in total. Write answers in bullet form, not essays. Fifteen minutes a day is enough. By the time Mains ends, your bank will be ready and you can move straight to mock interviews.
The Current Affairs File
Keep one thin file only for interview relevant news. Add two or three items a week. Focus on your home state budget and schemes, national debates linked to your optional and degree, and any news about your hobby or employer. Note the fact, one line of context and your one line opinion. Boards reward a clear, balanced personal view far more than recited data.
Mock Interview Timeline That Works
A sensible calendar for this cycle looks like this. From now until Mains, spend only 15 minutes a day on the question bank. From September to November, expand answers and read one newspaper with an interview lens. From December onward, join structured mock interviews and take at least five before the real board. Record yourself once a week and check pace, posture and filler words.
