Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test Syllabus
Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test is abbreviated as UPCMAT .This exam offers admission to government, private institutes and university departments of Uttar Pradesh for management courses. The Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test (UPCMAT) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University i.e. UPTU, Lucknow for admission to different courses like BBA, MBA ,MFC ,PGDBA etc.
UPCMAT test is generally conducted in the month of May of the year. This test is a multiple objective type question. The question paper has four sections.
- Verbal ability
- Logical & abstract reasoning
- Knowledge of current affair
- Quantitative aptitude
Eligibility:
For appearing this exam the candidate should three year of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Also some universities under UPCMAT has set a minimum marks criteria for admission at graduation level to different streams of management. To know the required criteria candidates should consult the respective institute.
Also students those who have appeared for the exam of final year Bachelor’s degree and are waiting for the result can also apply for this exam.
Syllabus:
Section 1:
This section includes questions that test candidate’s expertise in English Language. The questions cover sentence completion, grammar, synonyms, vocabulary, antonyms, relationship between words & phrases and comprehension .
Section 2:
This part of the question paper test candidates ability to deal with Numerical Aptitude based on numerical calculation , general mathematics, arithmetic, geometry and simple algebra. This also tests the capability of the candidate to understand common graphs charts as well as tables.
Section 3:
This section of the question paper include questions that test candidate’s swiftness and precision of thinking and decisions making. The test is based on assessment of diagrams, figures, verbal reasoning and unfamiliar relationships .
Section 4:
This segment of the question paper aims at testing candidate’s Knowledge of current events related to trade, economy, industry, culture and sports .
