VISION CLASSES VS RAU IAS STUDY CIRCLE IN DELHI ., Many students consider coaching as a magic wand that can help them crack the toughest competitive examination in the country, IAS (Indian Administrative Service). But, the truth is sheer determination and hard work can pave the way to success. Students can revise themselves, know about the current happenings, work harder to crack the exam with ease. In many instances, the toppers of IAS examination have cracked it without going to any coaching centers. They have succeeded the examination with proper planning, hard work, and determination. So, they have not spent a truckload of money at any institute. In Delhi, students can find many institutes advertising about high-class coaching to crack the examination.
Though the institute advertises about personalized interaction, experienced faculty members, and up-to-date syllabus, etc., students can expect any of it in the actual classes. The institute has no dedicated faculty as most leave the institute after getting better offers elsewhere. So, barring few exceptional faculty members, students do not gain knowledge resulting in wasting hard-earning money. With regular postponing or classes and poor management, the coaching center will offer woes to the students.
Classes are pathetic and students feel that they have wasted their time and money. They do the fake promises to fill the seats but they don’t keep them. Students do not see alternative testing environment and strategies are bogus. They make promises at the time of counseling but once you pay the fee they don’t even respond to your query or problems. Apart from that, they charge too much for every course but don’t offer services. This suffocating and crowded place don’t even have experienced faculty, library, special class and facilities.
It is another famous institute that attracts many students with heavy advertisement and false promises. The teaching faculty (with few exceptions) offers mediocre guidance to the students that never help the students crack the tough examination. They use the old format in teaching GK and they waste the time of students by teaching some unnecessary topics in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. It does not relate to exam syllabus. Sometimes students feel the repeating information they get in lectures. You cannot expect much support from this institution.
Faculty is really not good; teachers don’t even have conceptual clarity of their subjects. When it comes to some more subjects like world history, art and culture, ancient history, you get boring and unsatisfactory lectures. They display a big picture and reputation in front of new students but reality is quite different. They should hire good subject teachers and experienced ones so that students can find it worthy to take admission in this institute.
The coaching institutes have become an industry or market instead of imparting valuable knowledge to students. So, students need to maintain caution while opting to study in such institutes. Students can overcome the IAS examination with self-study and hard work like many other toppers.
