Vision IAS and Rau’s IAS Study Circle lead Delhi’s UPSC coaching scene. Vision IAS offers top test series and current affairs notes with fees from ₹10,000 to ₹2,60,000. Rau’s IAS brings 70+ years of legacy through interactive foundation courses priced ₹12,500 to ₹1,75,500. No coaching guarantees success—toppers crack exams via self-study, daily revision, and news tracking. Attend demos and check faculty track records before deciding.
Vision Classes
Coaching institutes promise personalized attention, expert faculty, and current syllabi, but students often face letdowns in reality. Most teachers jump ship for better jobs, leaving few standouts behind. Classes get postponed often due to poor planning. This wastes time and hard-earned cash on empty knowledge. Pick wisely—vet faculty stability and management first.
Classes are pathetic and students feel that they have wasted their time and money. They do the fake promises to fill the seats but they don’t keep them. Students do not see alternative testing environment and strategies are bogus. They make promises at the time of counseling but once you pay the fee they don’t even respond to your query or problems. Apart from that, they charge too much for every course but don’t offer services. This suffocating and crowded place don’t even have experienced faculty, library, special class and facilities.

Rau IAS
It is another famous institute that attracts many students with heavy advertisement and false promises. The teaching faculty (with few exceptions) offers mediocre guidance to the students that never help the students crack the tough examination. They use the old format in teaching GK and they waste the time of students by teaching some unnecessary topics in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. It does not relate to exam syllabus. Sometimes students feel the repeating information they get in lectures. You cannot expect much support from this institution.

Faculty is really not good; teachers don’t even have conceptual clarity of their subjects. When it comes to some more subjects like world history, art and culture, ancient history, you get boring and unsatisfactory lectures. They display a big picture and reputation in front of new students but reality is quite different. They should hire good subject teachers and experienced ones so that students can find it worthy to take admission in this institute.
The coaching institutes have become an industry or market instead of imparting valuable knowledge to students. So, students need to maintain caution while opting to study in such institutes. Students can overcome the IAS examination with self-study and hard work like many other toppers.
