AFCAT  full form is Air Force Common Admission Test is organized by the Indian Air Force (IAF).The applications to which are made available in December and June respectively. AFCAT is officer recruitment gateway in 3 branches of Air Force –

  • Flying Branch (Short Service Commission only),
  • Technical branch (Permanent & Short Service Commission) 
  • Ground Duty Branch (Permanent & Short Service Commission).

AFCAT Exam Pattern ?

  • The exam will be conducted over a period of 2 hours.
  • Questions are to be asked from Verbal Ability, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and Aptitude Test.
  • The exam duration for the EKT will be 45 minutes.

AFCAT  Exam Eligibility ?

For flying Flying Branch

  •  60% marks in graduation in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E./B. Tech. or
  •  60% marks in Section A & B examination of Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India).

Age– Candidate should not be born earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1stJanuary, 1999

For Ground Duty (Technical)

  •  60% marks in graduation in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E./B. Tech. or
