Who is Eligible for CTET ?
Anyone who is Indian and want to contribute in Education.The following qualification should also be accompanied.
Eligibility criteria for becoming a teacher for class 1st to 5th.
- Candidate must be Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with not less than 50% marks and passed or pursuing in last year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR,
- Completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with not less than 45% marks and passed or pursuing in last year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE regulations 2002. OR,
- Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) examination with a minimum of 50% marks and qualified or pursuing in last year of four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR,
- Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) examination with not less than 50% marks and completed or pursuing in final year of Diploma in Education (two years duration) OR,
- Completed Graduation and cleared or pursuing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (two years).
Eligibility criteria for becoming a teacher for class 6th to 8th.
- Completed Graduation in any stream and cleared or pursuing in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (2-year). OR
- Completed Graduation with not less than 50% marks and cleared or pursuing in Bachelor in Education (1-year duration). OR,
- Completed Graduation with minimum of 45% marks and cleared or pursuing in Bachelor in Education (1-year duration) as per the NCTE rules and Regulations released from time to time in this regard. OR,
- Completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks and cleared or pursuing in last year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (4- year duration). OR,
- Completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks and cleared or pursuing in the final year of B.Sc.Ed/ B.A or B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed (4- year duration). OR,
- Completed Graduation with not less than 50% marks and cleared or pursuing in B.Ed. (1-year).

What is The Exam pattern of CTET ?
The Syllabus of both the paper remains the same difference is of the just level.

Paper I
Duration of this paper will be 2.5 hours. The paper shall have 150 questions divided equally into 5 sections.The language I section will focus on the medium of instruction while language II section focuses on technical aspects of the language.
