Who is responsible today for eve teasing boys or girls??
In today’s world, teasing is done by both boys and girls but what makes the difference is the manner in which it is done and the intentions and thinking behind it.According to me, boys are more responsible for teasing as compared to girls because most of the times we hear that a girl has become a victim of eve teasing but we hardly hear that a boy had become a victim of it.
Cases of eve teasing can be found at all places and almost everywhere i.e. at educational institutes, workplace, shopping malls, entertainment places and so on.In some cases, boys do it for having fun, in some cases they do it in order to show their smartness in front of others. At times, they do it to take their revenge regarding their personal grudges. But mostly, they do it for embarrassing a girl in public.
Nowadays, we hear that more no. of educated men’s are involved than the illiterate ones. Even being educated and sophisticated their character can be judged simply by such cheap activities. In some cases, girls also become a major victim of eve teasing because of men having some psychological problem of without any reason getting attracted to women and just for their personal satisfaction they misbehave with women.
Thus, in the end I would like to say that this activity of eve teasing should be removed from our society as soon as possible but before that it should be removed from people’s mind. Not only its rate is increasing day by day but at the same time it is also responsible for degrading women’s confidence, their self-esteem, their security, their independence and most importantly their dignity in public and making them feel being helpless and ashamed of others.
