The Head Office of the APPSC is located at the Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh .The formation of APPSC is 1 April 1988.

The main function of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission APPSC to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

APPSC EXAM Eligibility Criteria:-
- Nationality: A Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
- Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 30 years as on as of first January current year. Age relaxation applies to 5 years for APST candidates and Another five years for APST Candidates for State Government.
- Educational Qualifications: Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
