Now we talk about ASP, Dear APSC Exam Aspirants In this article I will share with you some very useful information about Assam PSC .The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935. PSCA or Public Service Commission of Assam is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of state of Assam in India.
The Head Office of the Assam PSC is located at the Guwahati in India.
Work and functions of Assam PSC :-
One of the primary functions of the Commission is to select the best suitable candidates for various Government Posts in Assam State ,India.
The main function of the Assam State Public Service Commission APSC to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state of Assam.

- Preliminary Exam (Objective Type).
- Mains Exam (Descriptive Type).

Assam PSC EXAM Eligibility Criteria:-
Nationality : The Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit :Candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years. The upper age limit is relaxed able by five years for SC/ST candidates i.e. up to 43 years. There will also be the relaxation of upper age limit in respect of Persons with Disability by five years
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess post graduate degree with at least 55% of the marks in any field from any of the University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State.
